HI. PIMPING COMMS OUT TODAY BECAUSE I FEEL LIKE IT AND I CAN 'CAUSE IT'S MY JOURNAL. :P (And yeah, I feel like typing in capslock. WANNA MESS, HUH HUH?)

oxyded is a recently-created comm for iconists to duke it out with their icons. Basically? It's an icon battle community. :P It's sort of like LIMS, I guess? But not really, lol, because I don't think anybody's eliminated. :P Go ask the mod/kyupples for more details.

connoi is a comm created by me, perv, and zanao as a place for iconists to chat with other makers on AIM and get concrit on their icons while also having fun. It started out as Sara, Sarah and me just doing group chats iconning and forcing each other to icon our pictures, and we thought that it would be fun to have an even bigger group with more iconners to chat with us and just gain inspiration and concrit on their progress. :D We did a test run around August (lol, so long ago), and I think it was pretty successful. So far, we haven't made a date for an official icon chat, but we're getting there. The kinks still haven't been worked out yet, so in the mean time, if you're interested, we'd be honored if you joined our lovely little community. ;D While offline, you can also do LJ posts at the comm and ask for concrit when there are no chats in session and you feel the urge to share your icons with us and ask for our opinions.
